Pairing Apple 6 watch with Iphone SE

I still have and use the older Iphone SE (I like the size and it works perfect for what I need a phone for).

I am looking at purchasing a new Apple 6 watch.

When reading the reviews many have wrote they were unable to pair the watch to their phone because their phone was an older Iphone 6.

Well my phone is a pre 6, so I'm wondering if I'll have the same problem... I did check what version is on my phone and its the IOS 14.4

Your iPhone came out after the iPhone 6 and will work with all watch models.
