My Mac died. Help with iCloud
I’m at died. My new Mac should show up today. How do I retrieve my files from the cloud onto my Mac?

If you had iCloud Photos and/or iCloud Drive turned on in your old Mac, turn those same options on in your new Mac (using the same Apple ID) and the data will sync to it.

There are other iCloud options at Apple menu > System Preferences > iCloud > (Contacts, Calendars, Reminders, Notes, etc) and you can turn those options on in your new Mac and that data will sync to it if the options were on in the old Mac.
If you are not sure what data you synced to iCloud from your old Mac, you can use any internet browser and log into www.icloud.com and review what data is there.
