How do I setup a home control use iPad?

I want to setup my iPad for controlling home automation. This means, the iPad should only have a few apps everybody (family, friends, and cleaners) can see and control. These may be: App to control my KNX network, Video door app, CCTV app, and some others like weather app.

So how can this be done to separate these few apps available for public use, and all other apps and privacy personal information associated to my Apple ID, like access to App Store and passwords and all other information?

Thanks.

Understood cristovao_portugal,

Once you download the necessary apps, you can go into the Settings and log out of the iTunes & App Store and iCloud. This way, someone would need your log in information to access them, as well as those functions like email and message not working.

Alternatively, you can create a "spare" Apple ID for the use of re-downloading those necessary apps then log into said apps with your normal login. This would be an option if those apps aren't paid or subscription based. Then, your personal account never needs be signed in.

Thanks for those details, cristovao_portugal,

Guided Access, which is the kiosk mode, is an option. However you are correct in that it only allows a single app.

If the apps in question cannot be bundled under the Home functions of the iPad that could then be locked with Guided Access, then you would need to have these apps on a separate device. Unfortunately, the iPad is unable to have separate user accounts where you could separate family apps from personal apps.

Thank you ShannonM1, but I am not using Homekit app.

Basically, I would like to have an iPad centralised at home, on the wall, and where people are allowed to interact with a few apps. These would be the set of apps that control the house, such as:

1) App to control lights, shutters, etc,

2) App for the video door,

3) App for CCTV,

4) App for the Alarm

5) And some others like a weather app, for instance.

The question is, how can I give access to these apps, leaving out all other apps the iPad has, and all the information associated with my private Apple ID (configurations, App Store, …)?

It would be like a Kiosk mode, but with more than one App! I think Kiosk mode only works with one app, right?
