Forgot Ipad pin

My mom gave me her old ipad. It works perfect. I factory reset it and then started the process to set it up for my kids to use. I had put in a 4 digit pin, then got interrupted and couldnt finish resetting it up to reflect my apple account. When I turn it on it's on the Hello screen but when I swipe to set up it asks for my pin (that I don't remember). Can I factory reset it again from this point?
