MIDI to USB cable Can't transfer chords... On Windows it does!

I know the this question has been asked on this forum. I just wanted to clarify further on this because that thread was closed.

I use an iMac 2019 with Logic Pro connected to an old Yamaha PSR 740. I am using that same rather cheap MIDI to USB Cable (TENINYU -- As currently where I live there is no other options available) that is mentioned on the other thread. The problem is the same with FL Studio on Mac but surprisingly it works just fine on Windows (installed not this same iMac by Boot Camp) with FL Studio.

I am wondering that it could be a case of a incompatible driver. Though it doesn't need one to work on Windows I am guessing a driver would solve the problem on Mac.

I can't find such a driver (installed the Yamaha one with no luck). I really appreciate anyone (maybe with a programming background) could confirm (or reject) my guess or would suggest a solution.

Thank you very much.

It's not going to work on Mac, it works on some versions of Windows, not on others. There is no driver, not sure what changed on Mac, the system USB software no longer supports what was evidently a bug that was allowed to remain for a long time. I have one of those interfaces I purchased just to test, works perfectly well on an old dual processor PowerPC G5. I recall it worked on Windows XP as well.
