How to unlock phone when you forget passcode without losing data

My daughter changed her passcode and has forgot it. She hasn’t backed the phone up. Is there any way to unlock the phone without losing data. She has an iPhone 6s Plus

You can’t unlock a phone with a forgotten passcode. The only solution is to restore it as new. If you don’t have a backup on your computer or in iCloud you can’t avoid losing data. The exception is any data that you might have previous synced to iCloud (which is not the same as backing up to iCloud), such as contacts, calendars, messages, etc.
