This is the first time I'm using Apple Music so I'm trying to sign up with the free trial, but every time I try to add a payment method the screen "freezes" where it lets me click done a bunch of times but nothing happens. I've tried it on both my macbook and iphone even after restarting and the same thing keeps happening. What do I do?

Seems the Apple ID account is where all the payment method info. for Apple Music, TV etc and other Apple Services is stored.
If you want to check your payment methods are ok:

Apple Music won't let me add payment
