Speakers faulty from being blocked?

I am using the logitech combo touch for the 2021 IPad Pro 12.9 inch with my 2020 IPad Pro because they do not offer one for my model. However, the alignment of the speaker grills between the 2020 and 2021 have changed and as a result, i find that the speaker grills (6/17) on my IPad Pro are covered by the combo touch casing. Should i be concerned about this? Could the sound trapped in the cover speaker grills potentially damage the speaker component?
