If you have a backup from when the messages were present, restore
that backup. Be advised that restoring a backup will return everything
on your iPhone to the status as of the date of the backup.

I'm a Canadian in Holbox at the moment. I'm at Villas Tribular by the Beach. I think my laptop might be compromised. I was getting weird notifications from my Security.. Does anyone know how to tell if it's safe or not?
I guess I dont know enough. Can you explain why a passcode should be required to do such things as back my phone up? And how and what do you suggest I use as security? I thought passcode was so nobody can get in my phone.
You have added additional information, if it is asking for a passcode when you back up it means you have set up a passcode on your backups. If you have forgotten that backup you will need to start a new backup file, if you are using the health app to store records and backing up to your computer it will require you to have a password to encrypt the backup.
