Despite the subject of this thread this is not a Chat site, LukeHaines doesn't work for Apple, and this is a user-to-user technical support site operated by Apple. In order to get the help you need start your own thread and provide detailed information of what you are trying to do and what problems you are running into. Include any error messages you might be getting.

You have added additional information, if it is asking for a passcode when you back up it means you have set up a passcode on your backups. If you have forgotten that backup you will need to start a new backup file, if you are using the health app to store records and backing up to your computer it will require you to have a password to encrypt the backup.
