How to update Logic Pro 10.4.8 to Logic Pro 10.6.2

Make sure you are running an OS that supports Logic 10.6.2

Log into the app store using the same Apple ID you used to originally buy Logic.

Go to the updates or purchased sections and you shold see the update ready for you to install.

Make a copy of your current version before updating by zipping the Logic app in your Applications folder and tucking it away somewhere. It makes it very quick and simple if, for some reason you need to go back to 10.4.8.
