Nimbus+ controller not working with most Arcade games on Mac computer

I have the original SteelSeries Nimbus and the Nimbus+.

The Nimbus+ only works with a few of the Apple Arcade games that I've played on the Mac. The Nimbus+ performs fine with my iPhone, and the original Nimbus controller works great with those Mac Arcade games.

Examples of games on the Mac that haven't worked with the Nimbus+ include:

Crossy Road Castle

Fledgling Heroes

Patty Pursuit

Sayonara Wild Hearts

Scrappers

Spidersaurs

(I have gotten NBA 2K21, Agent Intercept, Frogger in Toy Town, Butter Royale to work on the Mac with the Nimbus+).

I've updated the Nimbus+ firmware to the latest version 1.0.1.0, and I'm running a pretty recent Mac OS (Big Sur 11.3.1—I see that 11.4 just came out).

When I first tried out Apple Arcade, my family was just into Crossy Road Castle (which doesn't work with the Nimbus+ on Mac OS). I thought it was a game developer issue so I reached out to them and they acknowledged it was a known issue.

After finding more and more games that weren't working with Mac OS, I reached out to SteelSeries, the Nimbus+ manufacturer and they haven't been helpful yet either.

Can anyone else confirm that this is an issue?

Apple, can you put pressure on Steelseries to update their firmware to make the controller work on Mac OS? it's one of two controllers that Apple actually sells!
