I’m having iPad Pro 11 inch 2020 base model. Will Apple Pencil charge while using apps?

The second generation Apple Pencil will charge whilst it is magnetically docked with the iPad. It is advisable to keep the Pencil docked whenever it is not being actively used - as this will ensure that the Pencil is always optimally charged and ready for use.
