I can't access the apple menu because the left side of my screen is black

The partial left side of my screen is black like a black column and I don't have access to the menu

Try with an external monitor connected—

if the issue persist externally it is a GPU hardware issue, if no issue on the external it indicates a internal display issue or a projector cable issue with the display.
