How Do I Disable Lock Key on iMac M1 Magic Keyboard?

Just got the new iMac M1 base model so my Magic Keyboard has a Lock key above Delete instead of the Touch ID. How do I disable the Lock Key?

Just while typing this I've locked my Mac 3 times already because apparently I overreach for Delete.

I already went into Settings to Keyboard but I could find anything that disables and keys.

Please help!

And no I'm not upgrading to a touch ID keyboard as I've been told to do in other forums.

You cannot disable it, practice will teach your muscle memory from avoiding it.

If you want to give feedback to Apple about this, I'd recommend using www.apple.com/feedback .

You might see if a macro app like Keyboard Maestro can reprogram the Lock key to Delete or whatever you'd like. There are a number of macro apps on the App Store.
