Calendar malware?

I recently picked up some sort of virus in my calendar app that populates my calendar with malware warnings urging me to download a con app. It displays the apple insignia along with various warnings.

today it populated every day on my calendar for what appears to be eternity...

I was on Pinterest looking at Track And Field related workouts when one of the videos blew up the screen with warnings....

when I click on the warning in my calendar, it comes to a page with what looks like an official apple insignia and directs me to the App Store for a pre determined con app.

any help out there?

If running iOS 13 or earlier versions, check: Settings - Passwords & Accounts - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.

If running iOS 14, check: Settings - Calendar - Accounts - Any rogue entries here? If so, delete the rogue account.
