iOS 14.6

Just updated my I phone 11 with IOS 14.6 now I can’t print to my Hp printer. I normally print via HP direct, my phone sees the printer but just doesn’t print. My daughter has the same phone she hasn’t updated to 14.6 yet and using HP direct exactly the same way I did she can print. Sounds to me it’s a problem with the latest software. Any advise to rectify would be appreciated.

ps using normal printing mode doesn’t print either again it sees the printer but just doesn’t print.

Hi,

Any information about the HP printer model?

Do you mean printing via Wi-Fi Direct or HP wireless direct? A better solution may be to connect a printer and iPhones to a local Wi-Fi network provided by a router (infrastructure mode).

You can try the following procedure: Power off a router, the printer, the iPhones, and all other computers and devices. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the computers. Finally, power on the iPhones, and all other devices.
