Apple Watch Face Came Off

I have a 3 year old series 1 Apple Watch. The face just popped off - no impact or damage. Is there any coverage for this? I’ve read that this was an issue with this model, but I know it is a bit far removed.

With a 3 year old watch, I doubt that it still covered under warranty or the original AppleCare. For repair & service:
