Hi, In older versions of OSX it was easy to drag and drop (or copy and paste) a web link onto the desktop or even into a folder within finder. I am using Big Sur now and that feature seems to be missing. Does anyone know how to do this? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Adding a weblink to the desktop in Big Sur, or to any folder works as it always has
as a tip, do the procedure slowly:
click once to select the text in the address bar
click on the icon on the left of the text
drag to the desktop or folder

Hi Gary, thanks for confirming this for me. I tried doing this process countless times yesterday with no success. I have restarted the computer and now it’s working normally again. Weird.
