I have a MacBook Air Retina in Space Grey. It is the 2020 Model without the M1 Chip. When I shut it down, It shows me an Pink Screen and it takes a Lot of time to load, After I turn on My Mac and also, It sometimes shows me an Grey Screen, A Blank Grey Screen for 2mins and then It shows me, Where I can type my Password and its only around 7 Months Old.
This kind of sound like the computer needs to be Evaluated Find an Apple Authorized Service Provider for this issue AND also for not charging when using the Charger from a MBA M1 from your brothers computer while at your Grandparents place. Both these issue appear to be happening at the same time and thusly have the computer evaluated.

Choose the appropriate method.
To leave Safe Mode, choose “Restart” at the bottom.
