No power from Thunderbolt 3 display after wake-up from sleep

I use a MacBoo Pro 15 inch from 2017 with OS X Big Sur and connects this to a Samsung LF32TU87 display via Thunderbolt 3. The laptop uses power from the display which supports 92W output on Thunderbolt 3.

During work everything works fine, and MacBook power supply work as expected. However after sleep, the display wakes up but the MacBook Pro do not recognize that there is power over the Thunderbolt 3 cable from screen so it starts to drain battery in MacBook Pro. If Thunderbolt 3 cable is disconnected from MacBook Pro and then reconnected, then the MacBook starts to use external power again from display.

Is there any fix to this problem so the need for disconnecting and reconnecting Thunderbolt 3 cable could be avoided? Would a SMC reset help?
