You are not getting Dolby Vision with that TV set. You are getting HDR10 and HLG. If it offered Dolby Vision, then it would be stated and advertised as the premium feature that it is. Apple TV doesn’t output HLG, so that leaves HDR10.

The only important property of a functional HDMI cable is its bandwidth. There are 4 tiers of cables available now: 5 Gbps Standard, 10 Gbps High Speed, 18 Gbps Premium High Speed, and 48 Gbps Ultra High Speed. For 720p, any HDMI cable has enough bandwidth.

Thanks for your really helpful and detailed reply.

If I set the video output on Apple TV 4K to 1080p HDR - would the Apple TV lower the resolution to 720p if the TV outputs at 720p while still delivering HDR? Or is there an option for 720p HDR on Apple TV settings to match the 720p HDR resolution which the TV is advertised to output?
