iPad Keyboard Dock A1359 compatibility

Can the c.2010 Apple iPad Keyboard Dock Model A1359, which has 30-pin male and female connectors, be used successfully as an external keyboard with a late-model iPad Pro and/or MacBook Pro which uses USB-C (Thunderbolt 3 or 4) ports? Has anyone tested this by, for example, using a 30-pin male to USB Type A male adapter plus a USB Type A female to USB-C male cable?

It is very unlikely that anyone would attempt to connect an early model (and now long obsolete) iPad1, iPad2 or iPad3 to a recent iPad Pro featuring a USB-C port. Doing so would be utterly pointless.

An iPad cannot be used as a keyboard for another device.
