What Memory do I need to upgrade my 2012 Mac Mini. I have 2 8GB installed and need more memory.

The good news is Apple supports RAM upgrades on this model: Upgrade or install memory in your Mac mini - Apple Support.


You can upgrade to 16GB of RAM. Please see this RAM from Crucial or this RAM from OWC.


Why do you need more RAM?

You say that you have 2 8GB modules installed, then that is the maximum that can be installed, 16GBs. You can't install any more than that.


Not sure what the other 2 responders are going on about, unless they didn't read your original posting properly.
