How to verify my payment method?

I can’t download anything in the app store. If I try to redownload or download anything new, it tells me I need to verify my payment method even for free apps. It’s getting irritating and I’d like to know if there is a way to fix this. I’ve tried to add my PayPal and my debit card yet it says that’s both we’re failed.

Apple ID is the Account you use for everything Apple, including the App Store, iTunes, Music, iCloud, subscriptions etc,

If you want to login to your Apple ID account, you can check your payment methods are in order there.

(Eg: It may be that the main card you use for payments needs the expiry date updated ?)
