Suggest Strong Passwords

Ok…so before we begin: I *have Keychain Access enabled.

My iPhone saves and autofills passwords, but it has never *suggested strong passwords. This had been the case through my last 4-5 iphones (or pretty much since the feature was added to iPhones). Every other aspects of passwords management works fine. I know that not every site allows this…but NO sites? No App? At all? Ever?

Suggest strong password works fine on my macbook…same acct, btw.

ALL searches online result in “hey buddy, you just gotta enable Keychain”-type results, so I don’t need links to that solution. I also am not interested in “just use X password manager” tips either. I want the features that are supposed to work, to *work.

Help? So frustrated.

Hi 0re0-29,

Let's go ahead reset your settings from your device. Before we do this step, please make a recent backup of your device to iCloud or iTunes. You can learn more about backing up your data and settings here: Backup methods for iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Once you’ve done that, let us know if the issue remains.

I know this link well. It is basically just directions on how to use the “suggest strong password” feature. The problem is: my phones doesn’t suggest strong passwords…on any site.

And, again, Keychain is enabled. My phone remembers and recalls saved passwords no prob. It just won’t *suggest new ones when creating new accounts. My macbooks does. Both of these issues have been issues for years, through multiple phone upgrades.

Anyone ever seen this?

I just got this device less than a month ago, so the device settings shouldn’t be an issue…and the problem has persisted through my last several iphones…?
