I have two intel iMac (2016 and 2020) and iMac 24 M1, Mac mini M1 and MacBook Air M1. All running Mac OS 11.4. I can screen share from M1 to Intel, but I can't screen share from Intel to M1, nor can I screen share from M1 to M1.
Any body got this experience?

to see if you missed something in the sharing preferences or the remote management settings.

I'm not doing target display mode. I'm doing the screen sharing under the Settings > Sharing > Screen Share. Sorry for the typo. I could screen share amongst my Intel Macs. I can also screen share from my M1 iMac 24 to my Intel iMac 2020. But can't screen share from any machine to any M1 Mac. I tried switching off the firewall which did not help.
Sorry, it is not compatible. You cannot do it.

Any idea why? software limitation and hopefully a fix soon? Or is it a design choice? Or a hard ware limitation?
No fix. It is how it is.
Actually, none of your Mac models are capable of Target Display Mode. What is your method for this setup?
Confirmed that remote management is not on. Only Screen sharing is switched on. So not working still.
