Monitoring problem on GarageBand

I’m using iPad pro 2020. I connected external usb mic with build in headphone monitoring to my iPad by usb-c.

When i start recording with GarageBand it seems weird signal on headphone monitor noisy and distort. Also, I seems like the iPad cut off the output while using microphone. Anyone can help me to fix this problem?

Using external mic in IOS (IPad pro 2017) When connecting a USB external mic to iPad through USB port (which works perfectly fine for connecting other gadgets, namely an MPK), the ipad keeps on using the internal mic, disregarding the external. The mic is working fine and is perfectly powered while connected to the USB port . Just the iPad does not seem to acknowledge nor establish an audio input to it. Is there a way to sort this issue? I was looking mainly into using the external mic with GarageBand.

Input monitoring while playing the recorded track I have enabled input monitoring on the channel I'm using for vocals. The singer wants to hear some reverb (and is OK with the latency). On headphones we can hear the reverb when the track is stopped and when we are actually recording onto the track but cannot hear any reverb if I press 'play' without recording (i.e. when practising). I've tried using the reverb as an audio effect on the channel, as a send (using a bus) and I've tried sending the whole signal via a bus. None of these seem to make any difference. Can anyone help?
