can you get itunes on a Chromebook?

If the two replies you've had so far have left you confused, it may help if you use the same terminology as Apple since there is no such thing as "Apple itunes"*.

• If you mean iTunes (or Apple's iTunes {programme}*) - the programme, used on Windows computers, to manage your music, then as Niel has told you, the answer is no
• If you mean Apple Music, the subscription service from Apple, then follow the link posted by Scott-he-him: Join Apple Music on Android - Apple Support - there is a note in that article mentioning that the Chromebook has to be able to support Android apps, so I assume that means that some Chromebooks don't
• if you mean "music", purchased from the iTunes Store (so not the Apple Music service), then if your Chromebook can play m4a files (Apple's preferred format, also known as AAC), the answer is yes

* Apple's iTunes is not the same as Apple iTunes. Apple's iTunes means the iTunes programme, that belongs to Apple.

I don’t fully know what a Chromebook is but you can download the Music App from the Google Play store apparently..

That link is from the bottom of this Apple Support article. Download and use iTunes for Windows - Apple Support where it specifically mentions Chromebooks.

Reading this is seems Google people have almost all the same ability as us Apple people with the Music app. Use Apple Music with your Android devices - Apple Support

Additionally there is always the backup of https://music.apple.com for any device that cannot download iTunes or the Music App.
