Is there a way to set a crescendo feature for an alarm?

My wife's alarm jars me out of bed. I have a different app for my alarm that starts out quietly and then gradually gets louder over a minute. Is there a way to set a crescendo feature for the built in alarm on iPhone?

iPhone 12 Pro, iOS 14

Hi,

To get a crescendo feature for the alarm app, you will first have to set up Sleep, as the crescendo feature is only available with Sleep

To set up Sleep:

Go to the Clock app > Tap Sleep | Wake up > Then go through the process of setting it up in the health app.

After Sleep is set up, go back to the Clock app, in the alarm section at the top, it will have your sleep schedule, click Change > Scroll down until you find Alarm Options. From there click Sounds and Haptics.

You can then choose from the provided wake up alarms, all those alarms will start quiet, and slowly get louder to wake you up calmly. I hope I was helpful!

Unfortunately no there not a way to have a crescendo alarm with a purchased ringtone. The only thing you are able to customize and make your own is the vibrations that your iPhone does.

To make a custom vibration:

Go to the Clock App > Go to Sleep > Tap Change > Scroll down to Alarm Options > Tap Sounds and Haptics > Tap Vibrations > Then under Custom click on Create New Vibration.

Hope this helped!
