Messages in Messenger Disappear

We understand that some of your messages are disappearing. To clarify, are you referring to messages within the built-in Messages app (iMessage and standard text messages), or the third party app Messenger?

If you're referring to Messages, go to Settings > Messages > Keep Messages to see if it is selected to disappear after some time. If you use Messages with iCloud, make sure the setting is enabled in Settings > [your name] > iCloud.

We also recommend ensuring your software is updated to the latest version. Make sure to back up your data before updating, if needed. These article should help:

If you're referring to a third party app, make sure that app is updated in the App Store: How to manually update apps on your Apple device.
