Does AppleCare warranty cover my iPad if it just stops working. Won’t turn on at all or has a black screen and won’t open any apps

I want to know if the warranty on my 8th generation covers technical issues. If it doesn’t turn on or shows black screen. I had another iPad that this happened to. Took it to a repair shop and they couldn’t fix it. So I’m thinking of purchasing extended warranty. Want to know the actual coverage first

If your iPad has a technical or manufacturer's problem, then the warranty will cover it (it is hardware coverage). If the problem is software related, it is your responsibility, but you can ask for help here or contact Apple support online for that. If it has to do with accidental damage (dropping it or getting it wet for instance), the regular warranty does not cover that - but Applecare + will cover that. You have to buy the Applecare coverage within 60 days of purchasing your iPad. Also note that Applecare + is not available in all countries, so you need to check that when you are buying the iPad.
