Air Drop
My wife 'airdropped' a file to my iPhone. I clicked on the choice that said to save it to my files, but I can't find it. Where might it have gone and how can I relocate it?
iPhone 7, iOS 13

Have read through the article that you linked to. As I mentioned, the file is not located in any of the folders under 'files.' In 'files' I have "on my iPhone," "iCloud Drive," and "recently deleted" listed as Locations. There is nothing listed under "iCloud Drive" and "Recently Deleted." Under 'on my iPhone' I have an empty folder, a screen shot, and a folder that contains 2 downloads. That's it . Where else could it have gone?
It should have been a pdf. I checked my Books app it wasn't there. Is it possible that I somehow didn't save it when it was sent to me? Forgive my ignorance on this. I'm still somewhat new to all this but am trying to learn
Thank you. There are 7 files there and none of them are the file that was sent. In fact, I have no idea how the files that are there actually got there...
Use the article I linked above to learn about iCloud Drive and the other places to store files. Explore using the Files app.
What type of file was it? A PDF file might be shown in the Library of your Books app.
