I cannot get my Debit card to load.

I scanned my debit card and put in the security code, but 30 minutes later it is still loading. I need to make a payment by 11:59 am. In a panic.

When trying to add my debit card to the wallet it says “unable to add card” I previously used the same card with my previous phone and watch for Apple Pay with no issues. Apple said to contact my bank, contacted my bank, they said to contact Apple. The phone is up to date with the latest software and has a strong wifi connection. Ive tried adding the card several times, signed out of my Apple ID and then back in again, restarted iPhone to no avail. Has anyone else had the same problem?

My debit card is still loading into my Wallet 30 minutes later. How long does it take?
