How can I in freeze the text messages
Hmm, I don't know what "in freeze" means. Do you mean that your Messages app is frozen? If so, do this:
1) swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the App Switcher
2) then scroll right to locate the Messages app
3) swipe up on the Messages app to close it
4) go back to the Messages app on the Home screen and open it again.
