I have the Discovery app on my iPhone

I have the Discovery app on my iPhone and have been able to play it on my apple tv until today. I no longer have that option on my iPhone. How do I move the app to apple tv or amazon prime to be able to play it on my tv?

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support


  • Discovery+ on Apple TV requires at least an Apple TV (4th generation or later) (tvOS 12 or later).
  • Discovery+ AirPlay system requirements (for the receiving device) are not as specific as they could be. Using AirPlay to stream from your device to your TV - discovery+ Help Center. Use the “contact us”-link there if needed, and be specific about your AirPlay receiving equipment. A content provider may set its own AirPlay system requirements: None/All/3rd gen or later/AirPlay-2 enabled devices.


To start AirPlay streaming in general, use the in-app controls if available. Else use Screen Mirroring in Control Center. Use AirPlay to stream video or mirror your device’s screen - Apple Support
