My iPhone XR Whatsapp manage storage not Working.
current version is 14.6
but I was facing this from last 3-4 updates
may be after 14.2 or 14.3
I have tried the following:-

I am having issue with “Whatsapp Manage Storage Freeze” and not with storage on my iPhone. capacity of your iPhone XR is 128GB and approx 30GB space is available.
I try to explain my problem again,
problem is with whatsapp application,
whatsapp app also have manage storage option, in that when I try to manage then it hangs and finally get shutdown automatically.
i have shared its screenshot also.
this problem comes after I updated iphone iOS, I think 14.2 or later, after that many more iOS updates came & I updated all, I thought that new updated will resolve the problem, but after latest update, which is 14.6, problem remain same.
please help.

We agree that the issue seems to be with the WhatsApp application. Try the steps in the order presented in the resources below to remove the application and download it again. Make sure you have a backup of your iPhone before doing this.
