Microsoft 365 won't open

Suddenly...I am unable to open documents or start new Word docs. MacBook Air error states that I do not have permission to use Microsoft and I should contact computer admin. Seems that there are a number of similar problems on this blog, however, no answers. This is a 2019 Microsoft Student 365.

To be clearer, Office 365 limits you to 5 distinct computers on a single license. Once you have five computers logged in simultaneously, the additional attempts to login will be rebuffed. You can open the office.com website and disengage other logins from being active from other computers if you have no more use for those computers to be on your Office account.

The Student 365 enrollment will typically expire after a year of leaving the institution you got the enrollment at.

If you are still enrolled, consult with the IT department of that institution to make sure no one has lapsed in their enrollment with Microsoft or forgotten to include your email address as a registered account.
