Lack of cell service

Switched from an iPhone 8 to an iPhone 12 Pro now I have horrible service in places where I used to have great service. I don’t have 5G towers in my area and probably won’t any time soon. Wondering how I can fix this issue?

I would contact the carrier just to make sure everything is set up right on their end since they are responsible for your cellular service.
