I opened my MacBook Pro 2020 from sleep and the screen message was "Your password is required to enable Touch ID." I entered my active Apple ID password but did not get in even though the password was working on other applications. I changed the password just in case and got the same result. Can anyone assist?

It is asking for your computers Admin password.
