Notability BackUp Problems?

Hello,

I have been having problems with my Notability app for some time. I use it on my iPad, but also have it on my iPhone. Here is the problem:

When I open notability it always shows the cloud icon on the files and downloads them. This happens several times a day and I rarely have time to use the documents because as soon as they download, it feels like it starts all over again.

I have tried changing the auto backup from Google Drive to Dropbox, but once I have the auto backup on it is even worse.

It was fine for a while when I only had iCloud Sinc on, but now I have the exact same problem again. I never have this problem on my iPhone, and I've tried all the solutions suggested by Notability...

When I go into Notability settings and > About>Support Diagnostics, the CPU is always above 100%.

This is all a huge problem and I would be hugely appreciative of a solution. I would also like to stay with Notability as I don't really get along with Goodnotes.
