After upgrading the software my iMac is getting restart but that progress bar is not progressing since last one hour

After upgrading the software big sur my iMac is getting restart but the progress bar is stocked and not progressing since last one hour ….what should I do?

Please let it run for another 4-5 hours. It should start up, if it does not shut it down then try restarting.
