diskutil cs revert Big Sur doesn't exist anymore?!

I need to revert an external drive that's being encrypted using Big Sur. Previously this could be done by using diskutil cs revert ... but seems that verb has been removed from CoreStorage now.

diskutil: did not recognize coreStorage verb "revert"; type "diskutil coreStorage" for a list

My disk:

Core Storage Properties:

   Role:                       Logical Volume (LV)

   UUID:                       8652F446-13C2-431E-B707-3C4F09BE02F5

   Parent LVF UUID:            976CC0D4-D8A0-4625-A563-6F14A01F2FB4

   Parent LVG UUID:            F3E54709-21CD-4358-920E-E4116B74028B

   Device Identifier:          disk3

   LV Status:                  Online

   Conversion State:           Converting

   LV Bytes Converted:         2205079830528 B

   LV Conversion Progress:     22%

   Content Hint:               Apple_HFS

   LV Name:                    Backups

   Volume Name:                Backups

   LV Size:                    10000116088832 B

Whats the magic method in Big Sur without having to find an old os to revert ? Nothing in the GUI for diskutil either..
