"Compromised Password" Alert...

How do I get rid of this fake warning message from my Safari "Start Page"? To whom can I send a screenshot? Here is a drag-dropped link to the image. /var/folders/ys/5ndr0pp953x9_76xvm_yvhlc0000gp/T/com.apple.mail/com.apple.mail.drag-T0x6000024cca40.tmp.yznOab/Untitled.png

That /var/folders file path is to a file on your system, and is not remotely accessible.

The following image shows the reply box with the photo insertion button circled in red.

To use that, take a screen shot, confirm the image shows no sensitive information, and upload it here.

As for the original question, the "This password has appeared in a data breach" messages can be generated by macOS, and can indicate a password that is, well, compromised. Re-using passwords can be a serious problem in recent years, as passwords become known when services are breached, and the account and its known passwords is then tried, well, everywhere.

Quote:

Weak, reused, and leaked passwords are either indicated in the list of passwords (macOS) or present in the dedicated Security Recommendations interface (iOS and iPadOS). If the user logs in to a website in Safari using a previously saved password that’s very weak or that’s been compromised by a data leak, they’re shown an alert strongly encouraging them to upgrade to an automatic strong password.
