What about lossless audio and Airplay 2 ?
Can I use my iPhone or my Mac and play music in lossless format on my external Airplay 2 speakers ?

AirPlay (1 and 2) are currently already capable of delivering lossless audio up to 44.1 kHz (48 kHz for video contents).
It's yet to be seen how Apple Music lossless streaming will be handled through AirPlay. It's expected to roll out this month.
