iPad Software update notifications (on mac)

When I connect my iPad to my mac, I receive notifications telling me to update my iPad. How do I stop these. They build up too! (see below)

Why is my iMac notifying me of an iOS update? So many things have gone weird since I updated my software on both the Mac and iPhone. I'm running OS 11.3.1, and now my iMac is sending me notifications every minute to update my iPhone (running 14.5.1). Why is it doing this now — it never did before — and how do I stop THAT notification without turning off all notifications?

Current update for 17.0 iPhone I do not want to have the latest software update on my iPhone 12. How do I stop the notifications?

Why not go ahead and update the iPad? That will stop the notifications and you will have the latest software.

Works fine. Why not just allow us to have the option to REMOVE THE NOTIFICATION?

I have the same issue but that iPad and iPhone are already updated. Any ideas?
