NEw iphone SE disabled

I just got an Iphone SE. I tried to set it up and it is saying my passcode is wrong and now the phone is disabled. Verizon says they cant help.

I am thinking at this point to just return the phone completely and getting an different one.

Does someone know how to fix this problem and restart the phone?
