Stop Automatic Music Downloads in Apple Music on Big Sur devices

Hello:

I want to have totally separate music libraries on my Mac Pro laptop and on my Mac desktop. To get this, I need Music to stop automatically downloading songs purchased on one device to the other. I know how to stop this on my Phone and iPad, but how do I do this on Big Sur devices?


I have been told many times to go to Music>preferences>stop automatic downloads, but that doesn't seem to be an option on the current build of Music.

Music > Preferences > General tab, untick Automatic Downloads. Music will still show all unhidden purchases from your Apple ID with cloud links if not downloaded. Use View > Only Downloaded Music to hide the cloud content.
