iPad screen recording

iPad screen recording functionality, usually background audio recording? for example Screen recording While viewing content on YouTube, Zoom, or Google Meet, does the screen recording have audio included in the clip? And if I want to add my voice to it? Or someone near my iPad will need to turn on the microphone. Do I understand all of this correctly?

The iPad screen recording will not record your voice. It is only a recording of the screen. Also, it can record what is going on if the app you're using has sound. That being said, some apps do not allow you do record the sound from that app.

I just tested it and YouTube does allow you to record the sound.
