Aug 1, 2010 8:57 AM in response to JakePby iTunescustomer,I'm actually trying to figure out how to get it back - but here's how I got rid of it:
Drag the bottom of the Cover Flow up until it disappears. Then you should be left with your list of bookmarks in text form. -

Aug 1, 2010 5:31 PM in response to Carolyn Samitby baltwo,Didn't try, but change Safari4 to Safari5 in that default command and it might work. For
iTunescustomer, when in the bookmarks window, if there's only a black bar with a search window, slowly move the cursor from the bookmarks area to the black band and when it changes to a hand, click and drag down. That should restore the cover flow window. -
Aug 1, 2010 5:45 PM in response to baltwoby iTunescustomer, baltwo, There is a black bar where the Cover Flow was, however despite moving the cursor ever so slowly, it still does not show neither a hand, nor an up/down arrow indicating that the area can be dragged down. It feels like it's locked in place. The only thing that will move is when the cursor is placed between the Collections/Bookmarks pane on the left and the list of bookmarks - then, you'll see a left/right arrow which you can slide either way. But there's no result when trying to drag up/down. -

Aug 1, 2010 6:56 PM in response to baltwoby baltwo,I just checked and the Safari4 fix to turn off Cover Flow doesn't work in either Safari 4 or 5. The terminal command's doesn't do anything, so ignore it. All you can do is minimze the black bar and that precludes CF from activating. -
Oct 5, 2010 5:59 AM in response to iTunescustomerby Thomas Earnshaw,To minimize cover flow, I double-clicked on the bar (with the hand showing); just trying to move the hand upward didn't go far enough. Double-clicking again restored it. Discovered this purely by accident!
