I am trying to recover a note that got deleted from my phone. I used an iCloud backup to restore my phone to before the note was deleted. After the phone restores I can see the old note for a second but then it goes away and the newer notes load in. Is there anyway to get the old note to stay after restoring?
Hello Shinyu! Since you're using iCloud notes, the notes won't be included in a backup. Instead they're synced through iCloud. If they were deleted, and they don't appear in the Recently Deleted folder, there isn't a way to retrieve them.

We understand that a note was recently deleted, and you'd like to recover it. We'd like to look into this with you to see how we can help.
If your notes were stored on your iPhone only, and not synced to iCloud, there may be a Recently Deleted folder on your iPhone that you can recover the note from.
If you use upgraded iCloud notes, deleted notes are moved to the Recently Deleted folder for that iCloud account, on all devices that use the same account. After that time, notes are permanently deleted from all your devices (and that may take up to 40 days).
iCloud notes that have been overwritten or have had their content deleted within the note, instead of deleting the note entirely, are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

I do use iCloud notes. The note was permanently deleted that's why I was trying to restore from backup and not from the recently deleted folder. The note should be in the iCloud backup and it shows up after I restore from backup but then it disappears again. None of the content in the note was deleted just the note itself.
